What is WIJS
WIJS (Dutch for wise) is a Dutch-American professional human development firm located in Greenville, SC that exists for one reason:
To give decision-makers and their people the space, tools, and environment to think innovatively and strategically beyond noise, screens, and silos to get results that matter deeply, personally and professionally.
In a world where most strategic thinking happens through rational, sequential, logical thinking, WIJS offers something different: space to think, off the record in non-ordinary, non-linear, experiential ways. The kind of space that ignites pragmatic, no-nonsense, old-skool clear thinking in complex times.
The WIJS Elements:
RUIMTE (Space): Space to think, sense, decide without noise.
KERN (Essence): The core that doesn’t shift.
RICHTING (Direction): Movement that fits.
ZICHT (Clarity): Pattern retrieval and recognition
DIRECTHEID (Directness): Saying what needs to be said. No detours. No theater.
Who We Are
WIJS was developed by Dutch-American founder Monique Ravesloot in close collaboration with American neuroscientist Dr. Greyerbiehl, PhD, of the Meaningsight Institute. For over twenty years, Monique has worked with C-suite executives, entrepreneurs, and legal teams. She helps them cut through noise, see what others miss, and make high-stakes decisions with clarity and precision.
Monique’s career started in Europe where she led deep diagnostic work for multinational corporations across multiple countries and industries. The approach was blunt by design. She went straight to the operational front lines where the real breakdowns reveal themselves. By listening to those who do the work, identifying friction points, and confronting complexity head-on, she helped executives close the gap between strategy and execution. The result was restored flow, sharper performance, and measurable gains in efficiency.
Leaders turn to Monique when they need directness without distortion. She does not sugarcoat. She exposes the core issues quickly, identifies what matters, and helps decision-makers move forward with confidence. Her work has shaped the thinking of senior leaders, founders, military and legal teams facing high-stakes choices where clarity is non-negotiable and results matter.
At WIJS, Monique offers leaders off the record space to think, sense, and decide without interference. The WIJS method combines applied neuroscience, multisensory processing, systems thinking, and decades of hard-won business experience. This is not theory. This is deliberate work that sharpens thinking, reveals blind spots, and moves organizations forward, even under extreme complexity.
Bridging European and American business cultures, Monique brings the pragmatic Dutch directness many leaders quietly seek. Fluent in multiple languages and deeply experienced across industries, she works with leaders who want truth, not theater. Clear thinking, honest dialogue, and decisions that hold with integrity.

Why The Pink Tulip
The tulip isn’t just a flower. It’s a Dutch masterclass in strategic, regenerative growth. Every year, 6.5 billion tulip bulbs disappear underground in the Netherlands, quietly building strength in darkness. They are not idle. They know what comes next.
Some stay where they are and bloom there. Others travel the world until they find the right place to open. When the time is right, the tulip bursts into vibrant firepower. Not because it has to, but because it recognizes the moment.
WIJS works much the same way. It creates space beneath the surface to build strength, clarity, and strategic firepower. Not by chasing trends or noise, not by copying what others do, but by knowing when to act, how and why.
True strategy respects natural cycles: the quiet phase, the burst, the retreat, and the rise again. There is a difference between stagnation and incubation. A tulip bulb underground is not stagnant; it is aware, sensing, waiting for the right moment, for the right space. So can you.
This isn’t about performance for the sake of performance.
It’s about knowing when to making your move when the stakes are high, the conditions are optimal, and the results matter most.
